Project: Little Italy, Multi-Family Two 18-Story Residential Towers
Location: Downtown San Diego, California

Two 18-story residential towers situated in San Diego’s Little Italy on a 60,000 square foot block on the southern edge of down town, offers luxury units in an urban setting. A total of 382 units and 418 parking stalls are enclosed within the building envelope of 536,000 square feet gross building area. Courage Safety Systems provided Highland Partnership with monthly site inspections; OSHA approved safety manuals; and guided the construction team to think safety; preventing any injuries while erecting the two towers.
Project: The Millennium, Multi-Family Luxury Apartments
Location: Woodland Hills, California

395-unit modern midrise community with four and five story buildings located in the Warner Center area of Woodland Hills. Courage Safety assisted Dinerstein Companies with the Project Permit Conference, conducted weekly safety inspections, and supplied the project with safety manuals, signs, and training.
Project: Block 8, Multi-Family Luxury Apartments
Location: Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, California
A $100 million mixed-use project, consisting of 240 units, 7 stories high with three levels of underground parking – located in Little Tokyo. This project is a Type III Podium design. 16,000 square feet of retail space was built beneath the residential apartments units. Courage Safety assisted Regis with the OSHA Permit Project Conference, periodic safety inspections, and monthly Tailgate Talks.

Project: Bella Terra, Entertainment Shopping Center
Location: Huntington Beach, California
Company: J. H. Snyder
Bella Terra is an 800,000 square-foot entertainment retail village, which includes: a 20-screen Century Theaters’ complex, 71 shops and restaurants, and a 1,540 space parking structure. Courage coordinated the safety programs for seven different General Contractors and the developer, J. H. Snyder. Courage Safety provided the OSHA Compliance Program that included monthly jobsite inspections to ensure the jobsite was in code with safety regulations. Public safety was a major concern during the construction process since the shopping mall was still in operation during construction.
Project: Willow Housing, Affordable Housing for Homeless and at-risk Veterans

Company: CORE Builders
Willow Housing will provide affordable, high-quality housing for homeless and at-risk Veterans, in close proximity to healthcare. The project consists of 60 units and is approximately 44,000 sf. The total development cost is $29 million. Courage Safety assisted CORE Builders with unique safety requirements by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Courage provided safety inspections, safety manuals, and monthly Tailgate Talks.
